OpenRoad Auto Group announced that it has once again been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies in 2014 for excellence in business performance.

This is the third time the company has won the award, after first receiving it in 2012 and then consecutively in 2013 and 2014. The company says it’s the only B.C.-based company in its category to receive this award for three years in a row.

The Best Managed award, one of the country’s leading business awards program sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, National Post, Queen’s School of Business and MacKay CEO Forums, recognizes Canadian-owned and managed companies with revenues over $10 million for sustained growth, financial performance, management practices and the efforts of the entire organization.

“It is a great honour to be recognized once again with this prestigious award,” said Christian Chia, President and CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group, in a press release. “Our team has worked hard to set a new standard for excellence in the automotive industry and we look forward to raising the bar even higher with some exciting new initiatives we’ll be unveiling this year.”

OpenRoad Auto Group owns and operates 15 dealerships representing 12 import automotive brands in British Columbia, making it the largest volume dealer group in the province. Most recently, the company opened Porsche Centre Langley, and it acquired Rolls-Royce Motor Car Vancouver, the BMW Store and Yaletown Mini.
