Keyloop joins Western Dealer Summit as Tech Partner

Keyloop has been confirmed as the first official Technology Partner and a Platinum Sponsor of the 2025 Western Canadian Dealer Summit (WCDS), set to take place later this week.

The annual summit brings together retailers, manufacturers, and technology providers from across Western Canada to discuss industry trends and emerging challenges in auto retail. The event serves as a forum for sharing insights that help dealers adapt to a rapidly changing business environment shaped by new technologies, shifting consumer expectations and economic pressures.

“Sponsorships have been sold out since September and we expect over 360 attendees in total, making this our largest event ever,” said Gerald Wood, president of the Motor Dealers Association of Alberta and WCDS2025 official, in a statement.

Pontus Riska, Keyloop’s global vice-president of business development, will deliver a keynote session titled “The Unified Theory of Automotive Retail.” His presentation will focus on how dealerships can improve customer retention through better alignment between people, process and technology. Riska is expected to explore practical strategies that support long-term customer loyalty and operational efficiency.

Keyloop recently introduced its Automotive Retail Platform, known as Fusion, to Canadian dealers at a Montreal event called Fusion Live. The platform is designed to streamline dealership operations and improve the flow of information between departments.

Sebastiaan Roovers, Keyloop’s vice-president of sales for the Americas, said the company continues to work with Canadian dealers to help integrate technology that supports modern retail practices and evolving customer needs.
