AMENA Auto, Georgian College launch dealer academy in MENA region

AMENA Auto, a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) based organization with a focus on the automotive sector, entered a strategic partnership with Georgian College and has launched the Global Dealer Academy in its home region.

It is a regionally-tailored, executive-level training platform meant to up-skill mid-to-senior dealership managers and help boost performance in sales, aftersales, CSI, NPS, and more. The initiative comes due to a need for skilled talent, structured training, and globally benchmarked education. AMENA Auto said Georgian College answered the call for this need and has entered the MENA region in partnership with AMENA.

“A New Era for Automotive Talent in the MENA Region,” AMENA Auto wrote in a LinkedIn post. “The Middle East’s Automotive industry is evolving — and with it, the demand for professional, localized training that builds real capability.”

The initiative was spearheaded by Kevin Weaver, President & CEO of Georgian College. AMENA Auto said it underscores a commitment to global expansion with local relevance, “bringing Canadian educational excellence to meet the Middle East’s operational needs,” according to AMENA Auto.

They also noted that the training offered is not a copy-paste curriculum export. AMENA is acting as Georgian’s regional partner, while Georgian is re-engineering its offering to reflect the diverse needs, business realities, and cultural fabric of the MENA Automotive ecosystem.

“This collaboration is not just logistical. It is philosophical. Both institutions are deeply aligned in their commitment to raising standards, driving performance, and shaping the next generation of automotive leaders in the region,” said AMENA Auto in its update.
