VinFast aims for electric-gasoline price parity

Vietnam’s VinFast is lowering electric vehicle prices by renting the batteries, according to Driving.ca. It says the company is aiming for electric-gasoline price parity by doing this. “VinFast revealed no clues as to what the battery rentals might cost in Canada, saying only that its monthly battery stipend plus the electricity required to power those batteries would be roughly equivalent to what the owner of an ICE-powered car would spend monthly on gasoline.” (Source: Driving.ca) Read the original story…
