Kijiji Autos is waiving 30 per cent of its Listing & Feature monthly subscription fees in June — the latest move by the company to help support the dealer community in Canada amid COVID-19.
Offers of savings were first announced in March, when the pandemic first started to impact dealerships across the nation. Other savings were announced for April and May, and now June.
“While we know that provinces are updating their economic approaches in real-time, we recognize that there is still uncertainty across the country that impacts businesses within the automotive sector,” said Leanne Kripp, Head of Autos, Kijiji. “We hope that through providing this extended relief we can help our dealer partners to remain focused on their businesses at this time.”
The company also said all dealer listings will remain live on its platform during this time, until further notice, so car shoppers can search for their next vehicle.
According to Kijiji Autos marketplace data, there remains strong user engagement — and over the past week, nearly 600,000 car and truck listings were seen by 46 million VDP views, which they say has led to 619,000 leads based on Kijiji’s internal data within Canada for the week of May 20.
