By helping dealers trade idle and obsolete parts at dealer cost, the North American Dealer Parts Exchange (NADPE) is an innovator and disruptor in the OEM dealership world, said CEO Shawn Larkin. A successful pilot program has amassed more than 100 active dealers by helping them reduce unneeded parts inventory in bulk, he said.
“At NADPE, we have successfully created a continent-wide marketplace for dealerships to bulk trade, sell and buy parts by cross-matching dealers inventory,” said Larkin. “We are now opening taps on the big three carmakers, namely Ford, General Motors and Chrysler.”
NADPE is a listing service that lets dealers make transactions of OEM parts easily where there is little possibility of sale in their local market.
There’s no cost to list parts, and just small fees for membership and completed online transactions, according to NADPE.
