There’s a new way for dealerships to showcase their stores and inventory online, and the company that created it claims it could revolutionize online vehicle buying. PSCars.com unveiled its new online portal at the 10th annual Digital Dealer convention in Orlando, Fl.
“Our goal is to transform the online vehicle buying and shopping process that eliminates frustrations and headaches for both dealers and online vehicle shoppers,” says Dan Kodsi, CEO of PSCars.com. “The launch of our PSCars.com platform to dealers is the first step in what we believe will be a revolution for online automotive retailing.”
The new portal/online configurator is taking a two-pronged approach in maximizing its impact and potential.
Firstly, the portal will bring dealers closer to their customers through multiple touch points during the configuring/purchasing process. The 3D rendering also presents itself as a virtual showroom for OEMs. If a customer is interested in a product they can browse dealership specific inventory and even place a ‘bid’ on a vehicle. The process puts more power in the hands of the customer. According to research performed by PSCars.com, people are not satisfied with the current online configuration on offer.
This new site lets customers completely control everything, which is what consumers are looking for, says the company.
