Your level of customer service is under increased scrutiny as more people are turning to websites like DealerRater.com to voice their opinions about your level of service.
DealerRater, a popular online tool for the public to rate car dealerships, has seen a recent spike in it’s number of customer reviews.
According to the company, the number of reviews posted on its network have exploded in the past months. Three months ago dealerRater was celebrating its 200,000th review, since then it has seen an additional 100,000 reviews. Additionally, dealer reviews posted by customers rose 50 percent during Q1 in 2011.
“This is an exciting time for the entire DealerRater community of both auto consumers and car dealerships across North America,” said Chip Grueter, president of DealerRater. “To gain 100,000 additional dealer reviews from our registered user base in three months alone points to the growing significance of online reviews in today’s auto marketplace as well as the necessity for dealers to pay closer attention to their online reputation.”
DealerRater’s registered user base has more than doubled in the past two years. DealerRater represents a vast online community attracting more than five million website visitors each year. The company provides car dealers with access to an ever-expanding market of potential customers who place importance on quality sales and service.
