ADP recently announced that more than 100,000 small businesses are using its web-based platform to process payroll. The new platform, known as RUN powered by ADP, allows small business to manage their payroll in as little as three clicks.
ADP says the payroll management system is a very robust full-service offering that should be more than ample for business owners.
The new software also allows access to HR411- a simple suite of tools that allows business owners better management of their HR departments, says ADP.
“Today’s small business owner is focused on maximizing resources efficiently in every aspect of their business,” said Regina Lee, President of ADP’s Small Business Services and Major Account Services units. “They demand flexibility and convenience. Equally important, they demand confidence in their payroll partner knowing they can manage key administrative tasks securely.”
According to a study published by ADP research institute, 90 percent of small business executives spend nine hours of a 40-hour week out of their office. Additionally, one third of the 90 percent indicated that their out of office time is increasing.
To account for this, the new platform has also made its way onto mobile devices, says ADP. Currently, the service is only provided for Apple products like the iPhone and iPad. However, ADP has stated that RIM and Android versions are to be released soon. Once access to these additional platforms has been enabled, ADP expects penetration rates for RUN to increase exponentially.
