A full lineup of speakers for Canadian Black Book and J.D. Power’s 2020 TalkAuto@Home event has been announced, with the ninth annual event set to take place virtually between 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST the week of November 16.
Speakers include Jeff Schuster, President, Americas Operation and Global Vehicle Forecasts, LMC Automotive; Brian Murphy, Vice President of Research & Analytics, Canadian Black Book; Arianne Walker, Chief Evangelist, Alexa Automotive, Amazon; and Jon Sederstrom, Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives, J.D. Power. Don Romano, President and CEO, Hyundai Auto Canada, and J.D. Ney, Canadian Automotive Practice Lead, J.D. Power will take part in a “fireside” chat on the last day of the event.
“This event seems to get bigger every year, and our virtual venue allows us to grow exponentially,” said JD Ney, Automotive Industry Practice Leader, Canada at J.D. Power. “But what we really hang our hats on, in terms of the growth of TalkAuto, is the quality of content and expert speakers that keep the industry engaged and interested in attending.”
Attendees will be able to communicate with presenters towards the end of each session. The sessions will also be recorded and sent to all attending participants via email, after the event. So far, more than 500 attendees have registered for the event, with more expected to join.
“A positive element of holding a virtual event is that we are not limiting our attendance based on physical space or travel,” said Brian Murphy, VP of Research & Analytics at Canadian Black Book. “We can easily host many more participants and are confirming registrants from all corners of Canada and the U.S.”
