Back in the summer, SiriusXM Canada launched its Win your Wheels! contest in conjunction with dealerships across the country. In order to participate, customers simply had to sign up for a one year subscription to SiriusXM. The winner was then randomly selected and awarded up to $40,000 towards the purchase of a new vehicle.
Bonnie Stimers, who purchased a new Tucson crossover from Carmax Hyundai in Lindsay, Ont. was the lucky winner. During a special ceremony at the dealership on November 6, James Byun Vice-President, OEM, SiriusXM Canada, presented Stimers with her prize.
“I was absolutely floored when they let me know I had won my brand new car,” said Stimers.
“It’s exciting enough to get a new vehicle, but to find out someone else is footing the bill is something else. I will enjoy my new car even more now, as well as my SiriusXM subscription!”
“This was a great opportunity for us to reward a subscriber,” added James Byun. “It also gave us a chance to talk to dealerships across Canada, who are so vital to our business.”
