The Ford F-150 topped autoTRADER.ca’s list of the 10 most sought after vehicles in Canada — a collection that includes both practical people movers and vehicles at the higher end of the luxury scale. It’s the second year at the top for the F-150, which has had its popularity collaborated by sales data from Desrosier Automotive Consultants, that pegs it as the best selling model in Canada.
The 2016 list features a blend of mainstream cars, trucks and SUVs along with some more aspirational models. It includes:
- Ford F-150
- Ford Mustang
- BMW 3-Series
- Honda Civic
- Chevrolet Corvette
- Jeep Wrangler
- Porsche 911
- Honda CRV
- Toyota RAV4
- Mazda 3
While most of the vehicle searches were similar across the country, New Brunswickers searched out more pick ups and SUVs than Canadians in other provinces. Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador were also exceptions, choosing the Ford Mustang over the Ford F-150 for top spot.
