NorthStar Ford asks customers to say cheese

Ford-photo-300Dealers who are always looking for ways to build customer engagement and gather good content for their social media channels might want to follow the example of NorthStar Ford Group.

The company is celebrating the unveiling of its newest location in western Canada with a #NorthStarPhotoSnap customer photo contest on its Facebook page.

The group, which has dealerships in Fort McMurray, Calgary, Cochrane and Fort McKay, says it will give customers who buy a new vehicle from the dealership the option to pose for a photo along with their new vehicles, or take one themselves, by Dec. 31.

These photos will be entered into a Facebook photo contest, with the customer who receives the most “likes” walking away with a weekly prize, like $50 towards accessories for their new vehicles.

All weekly winners will be entered into the final grand prize round for a chance to win $250 during the last week, says NorthStar Ford Group.

“I can’t wait to see some of these photos from our customers,” said Marty Giles, dealer principal, NorthStar Ford, in a press release. “They are a busy and active group of people and don’t be afraid to get creative here. We don’t want anyone taking their new Ford over Niagara Falls or anything to win but let’s see what you do with our Ford in real life.”
