Following the Mann family’s official 100th anniversary celebrations as GM dealers in Saskatchewan on October 24, Canadian auto dealer had a chance to catch up with Dealer Principal Robert Mann and ask him about the event and the group’s plans for the future.
“It was a good day,” says Mann. “We had over 100 guests attend the ceremony and luncheon. The mayor of Prince Albert, Greg Dionne, attended along with alderman from city council. Stephen Rose, Senior Vice-President at AutoCanada, whom we’ve partnered with, also came and spent a considerable amount of time here.”
Local radio station, Power 99 FM provided significant support, including an on air announcement of the ceremony, while the venue also served as an official ground breaking ceremony for the next evolution in retailing at the Mann-Northway Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC facility.

The celebration also marked the beginning of a modernization of the Prince Albert location
“This was a really proud day for us,” says Mann. “We have been big supporters of General Motors and are very excited to have reached this milestone. We look forward to the next 100 years.”
Originally founded in 1914 by Andrew Mann, the Mann Group is a fourth generation family business selling approximately 1900 vehicles a year between its two locations in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
