AutoCanada chooses CarGurus as its preferred partner in Canada

AutoCanada selected CarGurus as its preferred partner in Canada, which means the dealer group will have access to its listings marketplace, digital marketing and retail solutions, and market intelligence.

The group said its dealers will benefit from solutions that can help them boost visibility, better connect with ready-to-buy car shoppers, and data that allows for more informed decisions on vehicle pricing, inventory management, and digital advertising.

“We believe partnering with CarGurus will enable AutoCanada to fuel our growth through enhanced marketing performance, deeper data-driven decision-making, and greater access to high-quality consumer connections,” said Paul Antony, Executive Chairman of AutoCanada, in a statement.

AutoCanada has 64 franchised dealerships and three used car dealerships in Canada, all of which will gain ongoing access to strategic consultation from CarGurus’ in-person dealer engagement team. They said the goal will be to help dealers navigate shifting market dynamics and changes in consumer behaviour.

Sam Zales, President and Chief Operating Officer at CarGurus, said their goal is to help AutoCanada’s stores connect with more car buyers and with greater efficiency, while also taking advantage of CarGurus’ insights. “We value the opportunity to deepen our relationship as AutoCanada’s strategic partner,” said Zales in a statement.
