On April 16, 2014 the Trillium Automobile Dealers Association (TADA) and Co-Auto will host Ontario Dealer Day at the Paramount Event Venue in Vaughan, Ont.
The concept behind the event is to allow dealers to network with industry suppliers to strengthen ties, grow their business and seek new opportunities. It’s also a chance for them to listen to keynote speakers and take home fresh ideas and concepts which they can apply to their own operations. Michele Kearney, Marketing Manager with TADA says that having attended similar industry events, particularly in the U.S., it made sense to organize something in Ontario, designed specifically with Canadian dealers in mind. “Ontario represents approximately a third of all new car dealers in Canada,” says Kearney, “and we felt the time was right for TADA and Co-Auto to organize an event that was specifically geared to dealers in Canada and the province of Ontario.”
Dealer Day will incorporate an exhibition hall on the main level of the Paramount Event Venue, where vendors have the opportunity to exhibit their latest wares and talk with dealers, while specific meeting rooms will include workshops and keynote sessions.
A highlight of the event will be a keynote presentation from Leif Babin, ex-U.S. Navy SEAL commander and co-founder of leadership firm Echelon Front. Babin, who received a standing ovation during his presentation at last year’s DrivingSales Executive Summit in Las Vegas, will talk about the subject of leadership and what it takes to build a high performance winning team.
Also highly anticipated is Ron Bremner’s address. Bremner is a former broadcaster and owner of the Calgary Flames Hockey team, who today devotes his time and energy to mentoring senior business executives and public speaking. Bremner will talk about participation and why it’s important for everyone within an organization to contribute to its success.
