Registration open for virtual TalkAuto event on Nov. 15

Registration for the 10th annual TalkAuto event, which is hosted by J.D. Power and Canadian Black Book, is now open for the 2021 edition and is free for all attendees.

The virtual TalkAuto @ Home event will span the week of November 15 and take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT each day, featuring industry-leading speakers.

“Our industry has experienced much disruption and measurable change over the past two years because of the global pandemic,” said Yolanda Biswah, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Canadian Black.

She adds that it is “key to keep an open dialogue between our industry experts and decision makers to help facilitate change and encourage innovation.” And that TalkAuto “has always been a forum with that in mind.”

The following speakers are confirmed for the event:

  • Jeff Schuster, President, Americas Operation and Global Vehicle Forecasts at LCM Automotive;
  • Rene Abdalah, Senior Vice President Business Development & James Hancock, Director OEM Strategies and Analytics, both from Canadian Black Book. (Topic: Canadian Black Book Market Outlook);
  • Steward Stropp, Senior Director, Automotive Retail at J.D. Power. (Topic: Driving EV Adoption at Retail); and
  • JD Ney, Automotive Practice Lead at J.D. Power & Ryan Robinson, Automotive Research Leader at Deloitte (Fireside Chat)

The sessions will be recorded and made available for all the attendees. Registration for the event is now open.

Last year’s event included more than 850 attendees from all areas of Canada’s auto sector, including OEMs, retail, finance, data, and insurance businesses.
