Software solutions provider DealerSocket launched into the New Year by signing an agreement to acquire DMS provider Auto/Mate.
DealerSocket is known for its CRM system, digital retail, websites, inventory management, and DMS software solutions. Acquiring Auto/Mate will allow the company to offer dealers an “all-in-one, unique platform” for automotive dealerships.
In a news release, DealerSocket said the move will be a game changer for its customers, companies, and the industry. “For a long time, DealerSocket has believed that combining our companies could offer dealers a much needed new choice for a full platform solution,” said Sejal Pietrzak, CEO of DealerSocket.
Pietrzak also said that combining the companies presents tremendous opportunities for innovation, while also allowing them to maintain a strong focus on customer service. She said Auto/Mate has deep and long-standing relationships with their customers, and “impressive” customer win rates.
“Auto/Mate’s success is indicative of the strength of its innovative technology and the commitment of its employees who deliver an excellent customer experience to dealerships,” said Pietrzak. “I am excited to welcome Auto/Mate’s team to DealerSocket, and we look forward to investing further in our joint products and our teams as we continue to deliver for our customers.”
DealerSocket is headquartered in Texas, with offices in various other locations — including one in Mississauga, Ont. Auto/Mate is based in Albany, New York, and is connected with more than 1,500 dealerships in the U.S., according to its website. The two will operate separately until an official close is announced.
