Whether it’s following along through credit approvals, detailing, licensing or the date of a vehicle release, car buyers want to be kept informed every step of the way, from sale to delivery.
The LiasnTracker, an automotive delivery scheduler from Toronto-based Liasn, is designed to do just that, while at the same time giving dealers a new way to get referrals.
“Consumers have requested better communication and less delivery anxiety during the final phases of their vehicle purchases,” said Jeff Klink, founder of Liasn, in a written release.
“We have responded by introducing a platform that reduces confrontation and educates purchasers on the next phases of delivery and what they can expect on delivery day.”
The LiasnTracker builds transparency and trust into the vehicle delivery experience, by providing instant notifications as the vehicle goes from one stage of the sales process to the next, says the company.
Vehicle buyers can share their tracker page with family and friends on social media, generating referrals for dealership sales staff in the process, according to the company.
Dealers can track how many people visited delivery timeline pages, how many clients shared their timeline page on social media, and all the statuses of current car deliveries.
The tracker is simple to use: input the client’s information, preferred method of contact, new car information and expected delivery date. The service works on any device with a web browser and internet connection.
Individual sales personnel can use the LiasnTracker free of charge for basic vehicle tracking and social media prompting, says the company. Dealerships can get customized vehicle tracking and active lead generation for a flat monthly fee.
