Mitsubishi seeks voluntary retirement for 600 employees

Mitsubishi Motors will push 500-600 employees in mostly management positions in Japan to seek voluntary retirement from mid-November, in an effort to cut costs. “Mitsubishi has already embarked on a plan to cut 20% of fixed costs in two years by shrinking its workforce and production and closing unprofitable dealerships,” said Reuters.
