Nissan Brazil concept inspired by contest winner Karine.

What started out as a simple drawing contest by the children of Nissan Brazil workers turned into real concept sketches.

To help celebrate Children’s Day, the kids were instructed to draw the cars they wanted to see in the future. The results of the contest blew the judges away, so much so that the winning drawings were re-created into professional sketches in the design studio in Rio De Janeiro.

The three winners included five-year old Karine, 10-year-old Sophya, nine-year-old Gabriela, and an honourable mention was awarded to 10-year-old Nathalia for eco-friendly vehicle design.

“In all the drawings recreated in our studio, we noticed a concern with people, the environment and its preservation. It was wonderful to share our studio with them because they are our future, and they create worlds adults could never imagine. It is an experience that brings us energy and makes us rethink our concepts.”
