This year’s DrivingSales Executive Summit, proved to be a sellout success with some incredibly engaging and dynamic presentations and breakouts. Although three action packed days over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend might make the decision tough for some dealers to attend, those that did found it was well worth the effort.

In bringing our final installment of this year’s DSES coverage, Canadian auto dealer is happy to announce the winners of this year’s Best Innovation and Best Idea Contests.

The former went to NewCarIQ from Pearl Technology Holdings, a tool designed to allow dealers to track F&I cycle times, days inventory supply, which units are on the ground and are in transit and the ability to price units to market.

Meanwhile, the Best Idea Contest award went to Robert Karbaum of Weins Canada for his YouTube Postal Service. This is designed to provide dealers with the most effective way of engaging customers via emailable videos. The YouTube Postal Service marked the second win in a row win for Karbaum, who last year took home the first place prize (a cheque for $5,000) for his Appointment Boarding Pass.
